Lost Judgment is getting three rounds of DLC post-launch, one of which is a proper expansion. Players will be able to fight Yagami's associates in the boxing right as unique sparring partners. The pack includes activities to deepen the player's interactions with the school's clubs. The School Stories Expansion Pack will be available on October 26 for those who ordered the Digital Deluxe or Digital Ultimate Editions of Lost Judgment.
The player will also be able to test their might against Shin Amon in The Gauntlet special challenge mode. Detective and lifestyle content includes three new colors of Shiba Inu detective dogs, four additional playable SEGA Master System games (12 titles including Global Defense, Alien Syndrome, Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa, and Sagaia) for Yagami’s office console, the rideable Hover Drive hoverboard with a new skate park, and additional dateable characters.Ĭombat perks include 6 Extract recipes to temporarily empower Yagami with extraordinary abilities that range from ki laser beams and telekinesis.

New Judgement games will continue to be real-time brawlers, while Yakuza is transitioning fully to turn-based combat following Like A Dragon. RGG told IGN in an exclusive interview that Judgement 2 improves the original's brawler combat style and will continue to do so. Outside that, he'll be interacting with the world in new and varied ways, including wall running and other acrobatic feats.
That's because a significant part of the game's side story involves Yagami going undercover at a school. For every serious crime and dastardly deed Yagami investigates, Yagami also takes part in school dance competitions and gets in boxing fights with teachers. Sega previously teased the Kaito DLC in the weeks leading up to Lost Judgment's September 2021 arrival, while also detailing a slew of other post-launch content plans for the detective title. Judgment 2 takes Yagami to Yokohama, setting of Yakuza: Like A Dragon, on a much darker journey than we saw in the first Judgment. Publisher Sega has announced The Kaito Files DLC for Lost Judgment, a four-story, Masahuru Kaito-starring expansion scheduled to release later this month.
